Stole this from Cece
You are the Sad Queen! Somber, quiet, softspoken
and yet beautiful, you hold your subjects in
awe of your silent but forceful nature. You are
jaded and tired of this world because you are
so different from everyone else.Possible
Name: Tristyn Element: Shadow

‘Success is a finished book, a stack of pages each of which is filled with words. If you reach that point, you have won a victory over yourself no less impressive than sailing single-handed around the world’
~Tom Clancy
Sometimes success lies within ourselves. It can be something as small as getting your ‘to do’ list done. Trust me, that is a major accomplishement in my life.
Or it can be your first submission of a poem that is accepted and published. I wrote this poem years ago while going through a relationship that wasn’t working out at the time. It is not poet laureate material, but it was written from the heart and I will remember it always as the first time I got brave enough to submit something for possible publication.
Check it out on Circadian Poems if you want.

1. Someone who makes me laugh.
2. Cold, winter evenings snuggled up by the fire watching a good movie or reading a good book.
3. Bubble baths
4. Knowing that your true friends will always be there for you.
5. Starbucks
6. The smell of a little one right after their bath.
7. Blue jeans
8. New Year’s Day
9. Scrapbooking
10. The joy of seeing someone excited about a dream coming true.
Our RWA writing group had their Christmas party last night and it really rocked! We played the Chinese Christmas game and I won a set of three clear glass candles that are beautiful. I even gave up a chance for Starbucks gift cards for it!
No where near ready for Christmas! Have done nearly nil shopping. And work is picking up so I will have to hustle to get everything done. As usual.
Congrats to Mik for her book sale to Samhain Publishing! Way to go, Mik!!!!
Colin’s new book, Fringe Fantastic, The Poet’s Experience of the 2005 Edinburgh Experience, was released Dec 2. Congrats Colin!
My poem will be featured Wednesday, Dec 7, on Circadian Poems and I am so nervous. Will put a link on my blog that day. Maybe.
