That’s what I keep telling myself the third day into NaNoWriMo. I compare my measly 950 words to the 1,666 I need to do each day to reach 50,000 words Nov 30. But I guarantee (in my best Justin Wilson voice) that if I had not aimed at the 1,666, I would have never reached the 950.
What slowed me down yesterday (and I am not making excuses) is that the my medical assistant went home at 10:30 yesterday pregnant and with a stomach virus. (Stay away from me, kid, ’cause I don’t want either of those!) So I ran the floor, the phones, the triage, the charts, and the doctor all by my lonesome. But, hey, I am woman, hear me roar… unfortunately, I was down to a ‘squeak’ by the time I got home at almost 7:00 last night.

But, after all, tomorrow is another day!

You gotta start somewhere!

I will say that that I was spurred on when I saw how much people were putting in and made a point to push myself (and it don’t hurt I am a SAHM so I have only one small rowdy boy to contend with!)

:typing: Keep on keeping on!
