…for not blogging in 10 days. Thanks Michelle! I needed that kick in the pants!!

But have had SO much going on! Life is wonderful! I am so happy!

Sorry, can’t share some things, but trust me. It’s great!

The grandtwins came and visited me last weekend. They are just adorable. Colby got sick and was very clingy to me but I loved it. I miss them so much.

Got to see my dtr-in-law for the first time since the divorce was filed. You can tell she is different. Not only has she lost 35 pounds, she has had a tummy tuck (want one!!!) and a boob lift (want that too!) and she looks fabulous! But there is a sadness in her eyes and I believe she is going through the little bit of wildness that some go through when facing what she is. I love her and hope she will find someone who will love her like she deserves to be loved.

Had ‘da Bears’ over to meet dtr-in-law and see the twins again and we had such a good time. They are so much fun. I made chicken and sausage gumbo and not sure if they liked it. I am a terrible cook these last few years. Used to not be, but there is just so much more I’d rather do than working in the kitchen. Is this bad?

Which brings me to say I am going to the museum to see the exhibit of Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt on Sunday. I love history. I love museums. This one has been getting rave reviews so I can’t wait.

I almost became a history teacher instead of a nurse. But glad I didn’t. Would not have the same opportunities I have had and make the money I am making otherwise. So now, in my present position, I teach clinicals, I help build electronic records, get more than 30 minutes for lunch, (actually went shopping with my boss during lunch the other day), and get to meet some interesting people. Have the best of all the worlds.

Will be Christmas shopping all day Saturday as I am so far behind.

Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?

~Sandy

Yes, I’m done. I’m working on the cards.

You’ll like Queen H’s exhibit. It’s very interesting. She was an amazing woman. I visit her room in the Met every time I go up there — she’s one of my inspirations!

Happy is good! Very good. 🙂 I’m happy good but you know why and it’s rather sickening isn’t it?

Michelle Says:

PS You’re welcome HEHE

Rene Says:

I’m mostly done, I think. Hubby is going to be off next week and we will probably do some more.

Glad to hear you had a nice time with the grandkids. Gee, can’t tell you’re a romance novelist from your description of your daughter in law.

“I love her and hope she will find someone who will love her like she deserves to be loved.”

That is so sweet. Sounds like things are going great for you.

Bailey Stewart Says:

Yep, I’m done. Unless I get another wild hair and whip out the credit card again. :wall:

Sandy Says:

Devon: I can’t wait. I read up on her just a tad and she sounds fascinating.

Michelle: Yes, it is!

Rene: I just pray that we will be able to stay close not that they won’t be married any longer. She asked me how I am going to feel when she finds another man to become a big part of her life. I told her my heart was big enough to accept anyone she falls in love with. (As long as he is good to her and the grandbabies, of course)

Bailey: I am doing very well avoiding the credit cards this year. So far. 😈
